OUR HISTORY
United in Transportation Advocacy since 2019
The Clean and Just Transportation Network, formed in 2019 in Oregon serves as a transparent and inclusive incubator space for the transportation, climate, and justice-based movements by creating a shared learning space for statewide transportation and transportation adjacent advocates. We currently engage with environmental organizations, labor groups, public health advocates, urban and rural organizations, and frontline communities of color.
Our core team focuses on building relationships with network members, partners, and allies to advance and implement equitable transportation policies.

WHAT WE DO
We strive for a safer, healthier, more affordable transportation system
The Network brings together a diverse consortium of statewide transportation advocates, environmental justice and community-based organizations, and climate groups. The Network advocates at the state and local levels for transportation policies that dramatically reduce carbon emissions, address historic injustices, and are equitable, innovative, and sustainable. We strive to create a zero GHG emission transportation system that helps the state meet its greenhouse gas reduction goals (40% by 2035 and 80% by 2050) while strengthening our communities and economy to create a transportation system that is safer, healthier, more affordable and more reliable for everyone.

OUR WORKGROUPS
The Clean and Just Transportation Network is facilitated by a core group of coalition partners: Climate Solutions, Forth, OEC, and Verde. These network members facilitate the following two workgroups.
OUR GOALS

Improve public health by dramatically reducing air, and climate pollution

Where reducing vehicle miles traveled is not feasible, shifts transportation fuels to electricity
